An ad per video

Ever since they forced me onto the “free” version of tiktok ive been getting more ads than actual videos, worst of all, 70% of them are ai generated. Is this happening to anyone else? This might actually be what gets me to stop doomscrolling.

It's reminiscent of reddit forcing ads in us. It's time to get off but there are no news sites that I trust, and I don't know where else to get information
