Comment likes

Need to know if I’m being played or not. Recently saw a knife makers post saying that the best/most liked comment wins a free custom knife. My comment always seems to get the most likes for a minute but then this other guys comment always bounced back up to 3-4 likes more than mine. The other guy is friends with the knife maker who made the post so I’m wandering if they are likely rigging it in someway so that they don’t actually have to give the knife away? My username is @masn.70 and the person who made the post is @sk_customknives just in case anyone wanted to boost my comment lol
