unusable app because of its AI system.

this app has become unusable. tiktok already had a huge issue with unstable actions taken against accounts with AI detection systems for as long as its existed (i’ve been a daily user since 2019) , but this year it has gotten exponentially and i mean exponentially worse. it is incredibly inconsistent and unfair. i have 5 accounts and each account is treated very differently. on one of them, every single comment i post just gets instantly taken down, and if i appeal it, they will restore it, but its still just incredibly strange . i commented “cali” in response to someone asking where i lived and it had the action taken against it.

every single video goes through an AI detection system before posting which is very often wrong and will take action against videos that perfectly follow their guideline and give take action against your account, and this only has to happened 3 times before your account is permanently gone. if you appeal these, an AI system will quickly respond to you with “not approved” or maybe take a few hours so you think it’s a real human. if you try to contact support directly, it’s just an AI bot. if you ask to speak to a human, it will lie and say it will send you to one, but someone who is still very clearly AI will respond with an answer. so if you are someone who posts frequently on tiktok and still follows the rules, you’re still basically guaranteed to have your account taken away from you soon

and the fact that the AI now reads every single direct message you send someone before it sends and frequently doesn’t let it go through because of a “potential” risk that it isn’t an okay message to send. most of the time for completely normal things, and it’s incredibly inconsistent. things that actually are bad get no action taken against and things that aren’t do.
