I'm wondering if there are other ways to earn money from a Facebook page with this number of followers, or if I should just focus on growing the page and wait until Facebook makes it eligible for monetization.

with 8.1k followers and consistent videos u should already have monetization enabled and be making some money just from views. if it’s not enabledit’s most likely because the content isn’t actually yours and you’re just clipping (stealing) and reposting other people’s content

forget about brand deals or at least any good and profitable ones. your best option is probably affiliate links and trying to sell whatever merch fits your niche

No you cannot keep up with me, you will not know anything about my life or see updates with my appearance. I used to have a little following and after Covid maybe 2023 I had a realization about family & “friends” when I would take breaks they would say “You haven’t posted in a while” or they would question why I deleted or temporarily deleted profiles. But I noticed we barely had conversations on phone or texting… just them watching me online. Now I am permanently gone there is no photos of me on the internet if you want to see me or talk to me you will have to call me or reach out in some way.l or be reciprocal when I reach out. I am not an image on the internet I am a human being with a beating heart. Also after receiving stalking or weird jealousy about photos even though my whole life I was told because of my height and “ beauty” that I should be a model but once I tried it made people call me conceited or XYZ, like no…all of you guys overly talk about my appearance since I was a child constantly so I tried to do what everyone said my whole life and all it did was cause a rift due to me receiving attention. I don’t want internet fame or to be observed online. Something else is I had this happen a few times where men would take my innocent selfies NO CLEAVEDGE NO SKIN showing and I would be the green screen and them videoing themselves jacking off to me. Do you ever feel like you're creating content for the algorithm instead of actual people?

I've been managing social media for a while now and now it feels like every platform wants something completely different. One week it's short videos then it's carousels then someone says posting less gets better reach every time I think I've figured something out it feels like the rules change again. The other night I was scrolling on my phone looking at accounts in my niche and I noticed the posts I actually stopped to read weren't the ones that looked the most polished they were the ones that felt like someone was sharing a real opinion or experience instead of trying to game the algorithm. It made me wonder if I've been spending too much time chasing what I think the platform wants instead of making content that people would care about even if there wasn't an algorithm involved. Has anyone else started shifting back toward that mindset or is it just me?

Is there such a thing as a normal number of views for an account your size

got kind of nerdy about this recently. pulled median views per video across a bunch of accounts, different follower sizes, and the biggest accounts werent reliably the ones with the highest median views once you got under about 100k followers. the under 5k follower group specifically had a median sitting around 1850 views a video, which is lower than id have guessed going in caveat though, and this bugs me every time i see this kind of number thrown around without it, this was outlier search data, so every account in it is there because it already had a video break out at some point. an account that posts 60 times and never breaks out once doesnt show up in a tool like that at all. so the real number for a totally average account with zero hits is probably lower than 1850, not higher, we just cant see it because those accounts are invisible to the tool point is if your views are sitting near or under that and your follower count is way bigger than what that would predict, it doesnt automatically mean somethings broken. might just be normal, follower count was never predicting this well at this size to begin with curious if anyone tracks this by account size instead of by video, what do your own numbers actually look like
