Consistency doesnt grow an account, it stops one dying, and thats why this argument never ends here

theres a thread on here this week arguing about whether posting consistently matters and both sides are right about different things, which is why nobody is winning it.

posting often doesnt buy distribution. theres no register of who showed up. what it buys is attempts, and attempts only pay if each one is different enough to tell you something. thats the step everyone skips. most people posting five times a week are making the same video five times with new footage, so theyve run one experiment fifty times and learned nothing from it, and then they conclude consistency is a myth.

the version that works is boring. change one thing on purpose and hold everything else still. one week every video opens on a face talking, the next week every video opens mid action with no face in it. dont move the topic and the length and the hook together or you cant read the result. and let it run long enough that youre not reacting to a fluke, because at three posts everything looks like a pattern and hardly any of it is.

the honest bit underneath all this is that consistency mostly protects you from the thing that actually kills accounts, which is stopping for three weeks because nothing landed. thats not growth. its just not losing, and its sold as growth constantly.

for people whove been at this a while, did volume ever genuinely move it for you, or was it always one post that changed the level and everything else was maintenance
