While here in the US, children talk about going on holiday instead of vacations because of Bluey.

I noticed kids in a special ed classroom were all saying “no” funny. I asked about it. It’s the Bluey effect. I kinda like it though! Their little “nar” sounds way cuter than NO over and over.

Same thing happens with Bluey if you let them watch enough the language part of their brains absorb it

I grew up in France and one of my mates as a child spoke with a strong German accent, because his favorite cartoon character had one. It was fucking hilarious.

When I first started online gaming 20+ years ago I met and played with some Americans with quite the southern drawl (I'm Canadian). Played with them all the time with voice chat. One day got called down for dinner and while I am was talking to the fam at the dinner table, my mom interrupts me and asks "Why are you talking like that?"

I had begun to pick up their accent lol

My toddlers watch a lot of Peppa Pig and Bluey and my 4 year old started calling grocery carts "trollies."

My kid is like that with bluey. My son is a black Latino sounding like an Australian
