I’m getting the urge to finally start a TikTok account I’m trying to decide exactly what the content will be i’m just wondering if it’s worth it or not or if you have any pointerrs i have a well established small Pinterest account i would say so I might make the content clothing or ootd or craft related I have so many things I could narrow it down to. what do you think would do well and is it worthwhileeee. Maybe get some pr eventually?

I just like sharing my outfit creations ultimately and I’m curious if That would do ok

Your Pinterest following is a solid foundation — that audience tends to vibe with visual discovery content. PR will come naturally if you're consistent, but don't expect it for the first few months. Pick one angle and post daily for 30 days, then decide if it's worth it.

I spent 18 months studying the algorithms, obsessions over editing and the learning gurus available online attending those sessions. The prompting loop is the biggest hidden time cost in AI content tools

Had a call with a customer this morning that crystalized something I've been thinking about. He walked me through an experiment he ran with Canva's AI to make a carousel from a blog post: * Pasted his blog, asked for a carousel. Got one page. * Asked for 6 pages. * Asked it to apply his brand kit. Colors came back close but not right, and inconsistent across slides. * A few more prompts. Still not right. Gave up. Every single step was a prompt. Every output was "almost right." And every almost-right output meant another round trip of explaining what he wanted in words instead of just... fixing it directly. This is the thing I don't see discussed enough in the AI tools conversation. There's a whole category of tools where the AI is technically "doing the work" but you're spending all your time managing the AI instead of managing the content. The prompting *is* the work. You've just traded Canva clicking for Canva describing. For context, I'm the founder of WaveGen (a content repurposing tool that turns text into branded carousels, quote cards, etc). So I'm obviously biased here, but that's why it's built with an editor that can edit everything generated. When a user does edit, they edit directly — moves the thing, changes the text, drags & drops the layout. No re-prompting. I'm not saying prompting is bad across the board. For first draft image generation, writing, brainstorming, prompting makes sense. But for visual content where y*ou want small adjustment to see what feels right*? The prompt loop is a UX problem disguised as a feature. Curious if others are running into this same friction with other tools. What's your experience been?

went digging into the top performing accounts in a niche i follow closely, expecting to see some spread, different formats, different approaches. found basically one shape repeated over and over, someone talking straight to camera, educational tone, the same three or four hook styles rotating checked across 50 plus videos and there wasnt a single one using b-roll or footage-led storytelling instead of talking head. not one. which either means talking head is just the objectively strongest format for that topic, or it means everyone copied whoever won first and nobody has actually tested anything else in years i lean toward the second explanation, because the highest performers in that same set also had engagement patterns that looked more like a comment funnel than real interest, so "winning" and "actually working for the business behind it" might not be the same thing here at all curious if this is specific to my niche or something that shows up everywhere once you look close enough

Ran into this while setting up audience-limited posts on a LinkedIn company page, so sharing in case it saves someone the confusion. LinkedIn lets a Page post go to a subset of your followers instead of all of them: by location, language, job function, seniority, industry or company size. It's basically organic targeting, and it's handy if you post in two languages or only sell in some countries. The catch: the combination you pick has to match more than 300 of your Page's followers. Below that, LinkedIn won't send it to the smaller group. We were publishing through LinkedIn's API and the post was rejected outright rather than quietly going to everyone. On a newer Page, almost any two stacked filters fall under the line. What worked for us: * Use one filter, not several. Location on its own clears 300 far more often than location plus seniority. * Look at your follower demographics first (Page analytics, Followers) so you know which filters actually have the numbers before you write the post. * If you can't clear it, post to everyone and write the first line for the people you want. The first line decides who stops scrolling anyway. Has anyone found a good way to reach a small slice of followers on LinkedIn without hitting that floor?
