why do people think others can't film in public?

"Maine Wire" is a far-right rag in Maine that is anti-immigrant, anti-trans.

Curious to what was reporting on—was it aa or an abortion clinic or something?

DurianFull4851•13 days ago•625

The reporter works for an alt right ‘news’ group in Maine called the Maine Wire. They are awful people. They are known to target Maines Somali residents, trans people, addicts, etc. Not defending the action but these ‘reporters’ are vile excuses for humans.

“Reporting” on people leaving a drug treatment facility is an awful thing to do. They are making a choice to get help. While legal to film in public, this is very immoral. Plus this can get into murky waters if you are targeting with an intent to dox vulnerable patients. Should the guy have came at him with his car? Obviously not. But this “reporter” is acting in bad faith and provoking people seeking stigmatized care.

Given that this guy was already on parole he's going to get double digits for this.

He would be extremely lucky if they let him plead down to like 10 years. It'll likely be more like 12-15. He's done.
