Picture in Picture Disappeared after upgrading to the 18Pro

Has anyone else lost Picture in Picture on TikTok after upgrading phones? I had PiP on my iPhone 14 Pro, but since switching to the iPhone 18 Pro, it’s completely gone.

PiP is enabled in my iPhone settings and all the relevant TikTok settings are on. I’ve restarted, reinstalled the app, and tried everything I can think of.

I also contacted TikTok support and they were basically useless and gave me a “sucks to suck” response with no actual troubleshooting or explanation.

Is anyone else having this issue on the iPhone 18 Pro?

mine broke too when i jumped to the 18 pro, it's maddening because the toggle in settings literally does nothing now

i think tiktok has some weird device-specific flag they have to flip on their end for new hardware, it took weeks for them to fix it when the 15 series dropped so it's probably the same waiting game

the support team clearly just copies and pastes the same script for everything, they told me to "try restarting your device" five separate times like i hadn't already done that

So TikTok gets banned for everyone for a few hours before the 19th, and now it’s already back—thanks to President Trump, who hasn’t even taken office yet. It’s like they wanted people to panic for a bit and then feel indebted to Trump. Manipulative, almost as if it was all planned to boost his image.
