So fun fact this is actually a neurological issues in you body that misfires the nerves telling you that parts under the skin are itchy (like 99% of the time, very rarely with you have truly “itchy muscles”)

Its a kinda of snafu in your bodies wiring and when you either bite it or do something equally dramatic it kinda hard resets you brain.
