My goal is to fully integrate with my ig profile, since I want to establish a dialogue with people to understand their needs and to brainstorm some ideas, since I'd like to build a brand starting from there.

For your use case it's actually decent: IG cross-posting is trivial, and the algorithm actively pushes conversational threads. Reply to everything and treat it like a focus group; the dialogue part genuinely works better there than on IG.
Never touched it after the first week, the feed was just random brands and influencers I didn't follow. If you're trying to build a brand though, the ig integration might actually work in your favor since it pulls your existing audience
I stopped using it about 6 months ago. That platform is full of hatred. And for me it is also weird to just comment on a stranger's feed. I know we all do on FB or insta, but on threads it felt weird and very passive -aggressive too with the reactions.
It never had those users in the first. That thing wss full of bots. Nobody really used it.
I've noticed Threads performs better if targeting non-English speaking audiences, particularly Southeast Asia and Central/South America of a generally younger demographic
it's still pretty active but frankly it seems like it's populated with bots who fish for engagement by asking questions, not unlike many botted reddit posts such as 'am i weird for wearing my left socks before my right socks?'
x is a dumpster fire and no longer useful. my notifications are full of stuff i’m not interested in. threads is just a slight step better. still some toxic folks but occasionally some interesting stuff.
where did you actually read that people aren’t using it? the source makes a difference. if it was just some rando, why believe that.
the other thing to consider is what your target audience is; you need to meet them on their preferred platform. that’s basic market research

On a personal basis, I am really enjoying Threads. More and more I find myself turning into Threads first before my other social platforms for community and conversation. Hi, I manage executive and company social accounts, and I often download and cut down clips from Bloomberg, podcasts, and other broadcast interviews to share on clients’ X and LinkedIn accounts. Most of my clients have been fairly comfortable with the (perceived) low risk of doing so without explicit permission. I’m now working with more risk-averse clients, and I’m trying to figure out the right approach to be consistent. A few questions for anyone who has navigated this: * Do you reach out to each outlet (Bloomberg, etc.) for permission before posting interview clips? * Is there a difference between leveraging material for organic and paid use? * Some clients also want to use photos that outlets take during interviews or shoots, including the New York Times. How do you handle those? * Do you just reach out to each outlet have its own licensing or permissions contact? I reached out to the NYT for licensing of a video they created of my client's products via their online form but never heard back. Is it best to ask the producer who booked the interview, or are they usually not the right person for this? Is there a lead time to expect? Typically, my clients want to post right away. When we line these interviews up, should we ask the producers to route us for permissions in advance? * Do outlets actually care when a company or executive shares an interview clip organically? I understand the concern with photos taken by an outlet's photographer or a video of b-roll created, for example, but when the clip is simply the executive speaking and sharing from their channel, is it treated differently? * For some clients, where it makes sense, I repost the outlet’s content or link to clips hosted on the outlet’s site instead of uploading them natively.
