i liked someone's reposts before but it never showed up in the chat as "you liked a post shared by x". any idea why it happened? like why do i need a notification on my own action and what does it show on the persons notification?

I just wanna clear screen, meaning i want nothing other than the vid on it, if I wanted full-screen you should just rotate it, to most of you its probably nothing, but to me its just whut would make the most sense. That full-screen hint could've also been placed bottom corner
So for a few comments now, I would comment something and the creator would like it. I would get the notification even that they liked it but if I go into the video the like wouldn’t show up. And if I switch into a different account my entire comment wouldn’t even show up. Is this a bug or a glitch? Has anyone else experienced this?
