Totally real story about cops showing up over a DIY Flock camera

It would be pretty cool to make an app that allows the citizens to track and catalog the whereabouts and activity of the police officers. Cameras set up on private property trained to detect “police” marked vehicles then log the vehicle number or plate. Citizens could go manually log a location with their phone including gps data. If they have an interaction with an officer and get the badge number that too could be logged.
I’m sure it’d get shutdown pretty quickly for privacy or safety concerns, but hey isn’t that what our concerns are with FLOCK?
Not a Canadian but I hope yous won't be voting for that bitch again.
"This is a happy day"
Soooo, you admit the policies you've implemented are bad things?
I dont get why this is cringe? Did the cops not show up to his house? Was that all fake?

Yes officer. I'm trying to find me a incredibly handsome police officer to stalk and harass. Sound familiar?
They can go flock themselves
Canada????? We have these in Canada
OP I'm confused, why is this cringe?
LPR cameras are commonly available for purchase. You don't need to DIY them. Ubiquiti makes a few.
Now, adding damage detection models on top of that and making a network of them that's searchable across massive amounts of footage is a different story. Doable if you have a lot of cash to burn.
Or just FOIL requests for government vehicle movements and bring them to your public meetings
