Shipping fee confusion

So I ended up making an order with the direct shipping, but I saw the option for the consolidation shipping. I wanted to do it, but it seemed pretty weird and I didn’t want to end up getting charged more, what is your guys experience with that shipping option? Does it end up being cheaper? $50 shipping is pretty expensive for me, I ended up paying anyways, but I thought about doing the consolidation option. I just didn’t fully understand, I purchased all of my items from the same seller, so I assumed it would be more affordable, but it wasn’t and the consolidation option was still there. Is it worth selecting consolidation, or is the fee the same/similar or more

I paid $31 in shipping on a $30 order with 8 items

From what I understand, consolidated shipping is usually more useful when you're ordering from multiple sellers. If everything is from the same seller, it might not save you much.

I'd definitely check the total cost before choosing it though, since some services charge international shipping separately after the packages reach the warehouse.

$50 for shipping does sound pretty expensive. Were the items particularly heavy or bulky?

Making the Jump from TikTok to Rednote(Xiaohongshu)? Here’s What You Need to Know

So you’re thinking about switching (or at least dabbling) from TikTok to **Rednote** (aka Xiaohongshu)? Here’s a quick rundown on what to expect and how to adapt: 1. **Different Vibe** * **TikTok** is all about short, snappy videos—dances, trends, and memes. * **Rednote** leans more toward lifestyle tips, product reviews, and personal stories. Think mini-blogs rather than just quick clips. 2. **Less is More—or Is It?** * On **TikTok**, you can go viral with a 15-second masterpiece. * On **Rednote**, people actually read captions and appreciate detailed posts. Don’t be afraid to write a bit more and share personal insights. 3. **Engage with the Community** * Responding to comments is key on both platforms, but **Rednote** users expect a friendlier, more helpful approach. Focus on real interaction rather than just racking up views. 4. **Use Relevant Hashtags & Keywords** * **TikTok** hashtags can be trendy and fleeting. * **Rednote** hashtags and keywords should be more targeted, especially if you’re reviewing products or sharing how-to tips. 5. **Be Ready for Culture Shifts** * The **Rednote** audience often loves beauty, travel, fashion, and “real-life” hacks. * If you’re pivoting from dance challenges, consider experimenting with lifestyle or review content to fit the platform’s style. 6. **Quality Over Quantity** * While **TikTok** can reward frequent posting, **Rednote** might favor fewer, well-thought-out posts that really resonate. High-quality visuals and genuine storytelling go a long way. Got questions about Rednote? Drop ’em below—always happy to help a fellow content creator make the jump!

The ban isn't really about privacy concerns

Why exactly? You and me know why America is banning tiktok... They can't control the narrative their like they do with Facebook or Instagram YouTube. etc The genocide in Gaza was being shown in its full without any kind of censorship... And daddy israel doesn't like that so the AIPAC who's holding the American politicians by the balls... Forced them into banning the app.... It's not about privacy or any of that.... Remember edward Snowden.? I rest my case.

Anyone needs a Chinese Grammar Checker for chatting in Chinese?

I am a solo developer and a native Chinese speaker. I have built a Chinese grammar checker that uses AI models specifically designed for the Chinese language. It is already used by many Chinese users in their daily writing tasks. I believe it would also be helpful for making sure your text looks right and sounds right before sending it out. Website Address: [zh.manfneyufa.com/en/](http://zh.manfneyufa.com/en/) iOS App: Chinese Grammar Checker Both apps and websites have trial usage. Looking forward to feedback, thank you.

Error adding phone number to the new account

Hello, everyone. I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this, but if it isn’t, I will delete the post. Well, in 2024, I created an account on RedNote and linked it to my phone number. I later switched devices and didn’t reinstall the app until late 2025. I couldn’t remember my password, so I created a new account. Now, I would like to link my phone number to this new account. However, when I enter the verification code I receive, the app states that the number is already linked to another account and asks me to type a specific phrase: "I confirm that you no longer need to log in to this account to change the binding." I’ve tried typing it exactly as shown, but it’s never accepted. I’m not sure what exactly it wants me to enter, as I’ve typed the phrase precisely, yet it never works. If anyone could help me, I would be very grateful. P.S.: English is not my first language, and Mandarin is not my second language either (I am still a beginner in learning it). In the image, I was deleting the phrase to try again. However, the message that appears there in dark text is the same one that shows up when I enter the requested phrase.
