One of my dogs instagram videos went semi viral, now pages are asking to use it. Anyone have experience submitting videos to these platforms ?

I recently started an insta for my dog after doing her TikTok for about a year. One of her videos did pretty well. I’m getting dms from pages with millions of followers asking to post it, with the stipulation I upload it to animalvideossubmission.com. I was wondering if anyone has experience working with these and if it is worth it, or if there are any reasons I should not submit. Thanks for any help

Make them pay you or don't give it to them.

If they aren’t paying you then you don’t give it to them.

The upload link is the bit that'd make me pause. Check the terms for how long they can use the video, whether the licence is exclusive, and whether they can pass it on to other pages

Don’t. Your best bet is to start your own socials. Upload it there. Then create more of the same. Those companies are scams. I have a large pet following and when I started years ago, I fell for it.

be careful with those submission sites, a lot of them are basically just licensing your video away so they can resell it to news outlets or other pages and you get little to no credit or payment. Read the terms closely before uploading anything, especially what rights you're signing over. If a page wants to repost it, you can just reply and say sure as long as they credit your page and link back, no need to go through a third party site for that.

Benifits of not using smartphone

I am(21M) we are 4 members in my family my younger sister and my parents . My mom runs a small shop and my father too. We all have smartphones except my mom. Over 5 years we are using phones. But my don't have a smartphone or any phone she doesn't even know how to use it. At the night when father comes home and she too then she watch some serial in phone. I noticed she is more happier than 3 of us. She is extremely focused on her work and doesn't complain for anything and handle all the situation very wisely. She knows the real world and not influenced by the fake social media world.

Deleting all social media, best decision ever

No you cannot keep up with me, you will not know anything about my life or see updates with my appearance. I used to have a little following and after Covid maybe 2023 I had a realization about family & “friends” when I would take breaks they would say “You haven’t posted in a while” or they would question why I deleted or temporarily deleted profiles. But I noticed we barely had conversations on phone or texting… just them watching me online. Now I am permanently gone there is no photos of me on the internet if you want to see me or talk to me you will have to call me or reach out in some way.l or be reciprocal when I reach out. I am not an image on the internet I am a human being with a beating heart. Also after receiving stalking or weird jealousy about photos even though my whole life I was told because of my height and “ beauty” that I should be a model but once I tried it made people call me conceited or XYZ, like no…all of you guys overly talk about my appearance since I was a child constantly so I tried to do what everyone said my whole life and all it did was cause a rift due to me receiving attention. I don’t want internet fame or to be observed online. Something else is I had this happen a few times where men would take my innocent selfies NO CLEAVEDGE NO SKIN showing and I would be the green screen and them videoing themselves jacking off to me. All of social media is disturbing it makes people compare themselves and be weird and perverted that’s all. 3 years no social media 💪 join the wave

Just been hit by Meta One link limit!

I run social media for a charity here in the UK, and we regularly post content linking to parts of our website, event links for other organisations etc from our Facebook page. As of today (it didn't show up yesterday) we can only post 2 links a month without paying a fortune?! How is everyone getting round this or are we all needing to just fork out?

Followers don't automatically turn into sales, and I think the gap is usually on the website

Something I keep noticing with small brands: the Instagram or TikTok account feels alive. Real customers in the comments, try-on videos, people tagging the brand. Then you click through to the store and it's studio shots on a white background and nothing else. Everything that made you trust the brand stayed behind on the app. A few reasons I think followers convert worse than people expect: - The trust built on social doesn't travel with the click. People land on a product page that feels like a colder, different brand. - Most followers are there for the content, not to shop right now. A follow is closer to "I like this" than "I'll buy this." - The path from a post to the product is clumsy: link in bio, then the homepage, then searching for the thing they saw. - The proof people look for, real people actually wearing or using the product, lives on social and not where the buying decision happens. What seems to help is keeping some of that real content in front of people at the moment they're deciding, and making the jump from a post to the exact product as short as possible. Curious how others handle it. If you run social for a brand that sells online, do you bring your social content onto the website, or treat social purely as an awareness channel?

How are Fitness content creators feeling about the meta ai scrapping update?

Everyone I know is now leaving meta Photographers, artists, models, fitness bloggers, etc Nobody likes the new meta ai scrapping update. If someone was posting gym content like diet, routines, workouts, recipes etc where can we go now? I want something like Instagram so I can connect with other people who are into fitness. I’ve tried hevy, you can’t really discover new people Ryse is good but a bit limited Core circle is dead now Strava is for running and not as discoverable as I was wanting Where are we going? Is YouTube better now?
