How are Fitness content creators feeling about the meta ai scrapping update?

Everyone I know is now leaving meta
Photographers, artists, models, fitness bloggers, etc

Nobody likes the new meta ai scrapping update.

If someone was posting gym content like diet, routines, workouts, recipes etc where can we go now?

I want something like Instagram so I can connect with other people who are into fitness.

I’ve tried hevy, you can’t really discover new people

Ryse is good but a bit limited

Core circle is dead now

Strava is for running and not as discoverable as I was wanting

Where are we going? Is YouTube better now?

Just been hit by Meta One link limit!

I run social media for a charity here in the UK, and we regularly post content linking to parts of our website, event links for other organisations etc from our Facebook page. As of today (it didn't show up yesterday) we can only post 2 links a month without paying a fortune?! How is everyone getting round this or are we all needing to just fork out?

Do you ever feel like you're creating content for the algorithm instead of actual people?

I've been managing social media for a while now and now it feels like every platform wants something completely different. One week it's short videos then it's carousels then someone says posting less gets better reach every time I think I've figured something out it feels like the rules change again. The other night I was scrolling on my phone looking at accounts in my niche and I noticed the posts I actually stopped to read weren't the ones that looked the most polished they were the ones that felt like someone was sharing a real opinion or experience instead of trying to game the algorithm. It made me wonder if I've been spending too much time chasing what I think the platform wants instead of making content that people would care about even if there wasn't an algorithm involved. Has anyone else started shifting back toward that mindset or is it just me?

What's actually working on social media in 2026 that most marketers are still ignoring?

Social media keeps changing, and strategies that worked last year don't always deliver the same results today. For those managing social media accounts or growing a business, what's bringing you real engagement right now? Short-form videos, carousels, community building, or something else? I'd love to hear what's genuinely working for you, not just what's trending.

Does adding a caption, hashtags, and location actually help the Reels algorithm push your content?

Hey everyone, I've been noticing a lot of Reels going viral with completely blank descriptions, no hashtags, and no location tag at all. I wanted to ask if taking the time to add a description, hashtags, and a location actually helps the algorithm promote your Reels to more people, or if it makes no real difference compared to just posting without them. What has your experience been with this?

How do you use Snapchat to drive sales for a women’s fashion brand in the GCC?

I manage social media for a women’s fashion brand based in Oman, and I keep hearing that Snapchat is a huge sales driver for women’s fashion across the GCC. I want to explore it as a serious sales channel, not just another platform to post content on. But I’m not entirely sure how to approach it strategically. Should I focus on organic content, Snapchat Ads, influencer collaborations, or a combination of all three? How do you target the right audience, build trust, and actually convert views into purchases? I’d love to hear from anyone who has successfully used Snapchat to sell fashion in Oman or other GCC markets. What strategies have worked for you, and what would you recommend for a brand just getting started?
