Why all the platform of social media are US based.

I feel like there is a lot of US content regardless of which platform from online.. it feels like we are just watching Americans...all the other countries are doing so much but none of it is show cased I dont know how it is relatable but this is really weird...90% of the the social I cosume is USA made content i dont understand why or how is it because the social media are mainly from US or just they are not universal...got to think about this and qusstion..let me know if you have felt the same...

P.S. if this is illuminati please make me famous and money...

the platforms being american definitely plays a part, but the algorithm also just loves english content and keeps feeding you more of whatever you watched last, so eventually your feed becomes 90%

I wish I got more American content. My feed only pushes local stuff… and pushes my stuff to locals. Very annoying.

Are you located in the US? If you are then prob the content served to you is localized to US creators. 

If you’re not located in US - I had no idea this was happening. I just assumed all my suggested content with American because I live here so it takes more effort to search out the international content and train the algorithm to feed me that.

Everyone his age seems to be living this aesthetic lifestyle, going on trips, decorating their places nicely, and posting about it. Meanwhile, he’s budgeting hard but still feels like he’s barely keeping up.He doesn’t have massive debt (just student loans), he doesn’t blow money on stupid stuff, and he tries to be responsible. Yet he constantly worries about money and feels behind. Is this just normal lifestyle creep and young people today are spoiled? Or have the expectations of what a “good young adult life” should look like become financially unrealistic for average earners in 2026? Would especially love to hear from people around 25–32 who are in similar situations — what’s your take? Appreciate any honest takes.

i’ve been trying to grow my ig for a while now and it feels like i’m just stuck in the same place no matter what i post. i’m not expecting to blow up overnight or anything, but i’d at least like to see some steady movement. path social keeps showing up on my feed lately and i got curious. from what i understand it’s supposed to help you reach people who are actually interested in your niche instead of just padding the follower count. has anyone here actually used it for a few weeks or months? did the followers feel real and did they actually engage, or was it mostly just a bigger number on the profile? just looking for actual experiences before i spend money on it.
