He banned it so when he gets in office he will get the youth to like him by bringing in it back… like this man is top tier manipulative and dangerous

Tiktokers reserving all the tickets to his rally and then not showing up was pretty epic tho. 

He probably doesn't even remember that he himself was the one who started the road to banning the TikTok he's now claiming he wants to save. OR this was all some "master plan" of his where he bans TikTok and then "saves" it to make himself look heroic. But I'm guessing the former explanation is more likely.

How would Trump or anyone reverse this? It was passed by the Supreme Court. To my knowledge the only way to reverse a SC ruling is for an amendment to go through…”two-thirds of both houses of Congress to propose an amendment to the Constitution, which then must be ratified by three-quarters of the states.” From U of CO website. Liiike how would this happen?

The misinformation here is quite insane . This law was signed by congress and Biden in April . Upheld by SCOTUS. The action by date was created by Biden administration.

This has been and continues to be a bipartisan situation. While the Genesis of this march started during the Trump Administration, it did so with Democrats and Republicans combining in a unison we dont see anywhere else to complete the activity in 2023. So while its easy to root cause the source of the first action, we have to take in the totality of the action as being a near FULL political spectrum unified activity.

Also to note - over 68 Congressional members in either House or Senate, since the 2023 legislature have bought stock in Meta. Some while the initial bill was in discussion, many AFTER Biden signed the ban throughout 2024 prior to the SCOTUS decision. They stand to earn MILLIONS in stock cost from this ban, as Tiktok was the superior competitor to Meta in the video social media sector and the market will valuate META higher because of the ban.
