Since US wants 50% of TikTok China wants 50% of X

This is gonna be a long fight I fear, which may still just end with it going away in the US lol

X doesn't operate in China. Why would they be entitled to half? I agree with China in that anyone entering your market should do a joint venture, this is a good balance in protecting local companies and creating local jobs -- that being said, TikTok gets to enjoy a huge US market so giving up half is more than reasonable I think.
