I was watching a video about Elon throwing up nazi salutes but before they could show the clip my tiktok scrolled to the next video on its own and wouldn't let me scroll back up. My connection to the WiFi was secure and I didn't refresh so I'm very confused
They are censoring the ever loving fuck out of TikTok now. Any left leaning stuff is hard to search for now. And apparently a lot of content critical of Elon isn’t staying up.
But just to be clear - Elon Musk did do a Nazi salute on Inauguration Day. Twice.
It’s not that I even posted often or had specific mutuals, but it’s like 80% of the world just disappeared. Like, I just got a book off hold at the library and I know ppl on booktok would understand my excitement. Now I don’t know who to share it with now😿
apparently "people" still made this types of videos in the year 2026, and of course the homophobe had to use AI to get their message across.
Has anyone ever managed to find a fix for this? it's been nearly 2 months and it's still the same. I get AI videos, russian videos, and spanish vids. I speak ENGLISH. I dont understand those languages and even then that isnt what my FYP used to be like. I switch back to my phone (IOS same account btw) then my FYP is SUDDENLY fine. It goes back to normal on my phone but it IS straight slop on my PC. I keep contacting tiktok but they suggest for me to do the same thing over and over but that doesnt fix anything.
I get this ad all the time and I have to restart the whole app just to get out of it. I press “ask me later” but it just tries to make me sign up for it anyway
