Scepter for CoC/CoAilment build has "Allies do X in your presence". Why?

The only beneficial stats are a primary stat (specific one doesn’t matter normally but does for this person because their vertex has no gem stat requirements) , T1 spirit mana hybrid, T1 mana and T1 spirit plus the type of sceptre. They’re using a discipline sceptre and Eldritch which is giving them 400 ES converting to mana to give 400 extra mana. There isn’t anything else beneficial that could go on the sceptre. They’re missing two extra sockets (one from exceptional roll and one from corruption) and a +spirit corruption which is the only thing that could make it better. That could (I think) theoretically give them enough spirit to add blink but they would lose the second weapon which they might use but sigil of power has no gems in it.

scepter has a super great posibility of having that affix... I think is for that?

I mean those affixes aren't doing in the solo content but the scepter is. If you don't know there is a well known bug with purity sceptres and the dreamer sceptres where any gem you socket in them don't cost spirit. So you can get away with way more spirit gems than you would normally be able to.

Scepter is likely to roll mods that buff allies, so it’s not easy to get a scepter that doesn’t have at least 1-2 ally buff mods. But this scepter has a ton of spirit and a ton of mana. It also includes t1 intelligence, which probably helps this build. I suspect these are what the build needs (spirit, mana, int) and the other mods don’t matter except for group play, which is a nice buff because those also are the ideal mods for most teammates.

Most sceptres have auras or minion skill attached. Minions and allies are common roles on an item meant to provide buffs to allies and minions. Thas it thas all. You could also look into minion damage also applies to you and see if that would work to increase damage. Though I cant be sure if it does.

The only thing u care about for sceptres in this build is giga spirit, mana and int/strength/magnitude of aura. With spirit mana and int being top prio, those stats alone can cost 1000’s of divines, add strength and aura mag and you’re looking at doubling your cost for minimal upgrade.

Getting int and str is very expensive (hardest part of the craft).

Probably only using scepter for spirit requirements. If they only needed the added spirit from base scepter I bet they would have used one of the uniques.
