Whirlwind WH: 2 Questions - Sorcery Ward / Efficient way to counter life loss from Berserk
Been tinkering with whirlwind WH after I saw some builds and it looked satisfying (and it is!). My build isn't really original, just combined some tech that I thought was interesting. Anyway, I haven't played WH before and wanted to try sorcery ward. It looked to me like an efficient way to get decent defenses with relatively low investment. Is there an amount of sorcery ward in combination with pure EV that is considered to be the minimum/enough? My defense is at this point basically hyrrie's, constricting command + the surrounded EV nodes, afterimage and bestial skin anointed (lul). What is, in your experience, a good amount of EV/Sorcery Ward to go for?
(As a side note: my character isn't really all that optimized and I don't have a lot of experience in making builds, go easy on me pls. I recently switched from pinpoint critical to Garukhan and there's probably an argument to be made ditch some of the crit and area nodes on the left hand side of the tree to go for Struck Through and the crit stuff there. I wouldn't have to anoint bestial skin as well. Just as an example of the "state" of the build. I'm not even res-capped - with some res coming from an unfinished amulet)
The other thing is a convenience thing, really. I have to toggle Berserk off, if I'm not actively hitting things or the life loss kills me after some time. Still bugs me though. My "best" solution so far is to get more spirit, probably through atd if I ever find one, and use vitality/time of need and maybe hard to kill notable. Is there any "easy" way I'm overlooking?
