I really hate trying to manage stacking enough armour, resists and life in order to survive as a melee character. Its expensive and cuts into being able to afford damage stats making gameplay feel very slow.
That led me to these two builds.
Spirit efficiency/life stacking: https://maxroll.gg/poe2/planner/uvdut0o3
And life overflow/life stacking + spirit efficiency: https://maxroll.gg/poe2/planner/8ee8q0le
The first of the two I have played with some changes because Im a poor boy and cant afford some of the gear so I run titans blood and a 2 hander (i lose a little over 1k max life because of this but maintain decent damage). The damage screenwipes on t15 fully juiced maps, map bosses drop in a hammer + 2 sunders (better gear or setting up a weapon set 1/2 and a hammer would 1 shot them). The only weakness is that it is a bit squishy unless you can afford a strong 1 hand weapon so you dont have to sacrifice max life with titans blood to keep your damage relevant.
My actual titan for gear comparison: https://poe.ninja/poe2/profile/zakular-1879/character/Odinson_Thor
After playing with that I came up with the overflow build which I think would be slightly less damage but a fair bit more tanky and a little cheaper to build.
