[POE2] 0% Presence Tech Bow Build – Budget & Fun League Starter

I’ve been testing a 0% Presence setup using Lioneye's Glare and it turned out surprisingly strong for the budget.

The idea revolves around enabling the repeat mechanic consistently, which significantly boosts effective DPS.

For 0% Presence Tech ,there are two ways to achieve this setup.

The first method is to use a corrupted Greed's Embrace with “100% reduced Presence Area of Effect.”

The second method is to combine the Presence Area node with Warlord Berserker and a Grip of Kulemak with increased bonuses gained from Mystic Attunement of Ritualist to push your total Presence Area of Effect reduction beyond 100%.

I personally chose the second method, as it provides better defensive value overall.

(I tested using the Presence Area node together with two Grip of Kulemak (both rolled at 30%) and scaled them with increased bonuses gained from Mystic Attunement. On paper, this setup reaches 100% reduced Presence Area.( 30*1.25+30*1.25+25 = 100)

However, based on in-game testing, there still seems to be a small amount of Presence Area remaining, which prevents the interaction from working properly. Because of that, this version of the setup isn’t fully viable.)

It’s very fun to play, affordable, and works great as a league starter.

Heh, this was actually my league starter a couple months ago. I took the Greed's Embrace path, with Tactician to leverage the high armour, and it worked amazingly well too.

Some feedback:

  • Gameplay first = good, imo should be the norm anyway, I do the same. Most viewed & liked videos indicate that viewers prefer this style.

  • 3 minutes of gameplay = not good, nobody wants to watch that. I do around 1 minute of trailer style showcases, because 30-45 seconds just isn't enough, and 1:30 is about the maximum you should ever do. People will just skip too much through the video. There will be people who will tell you "it's fine", but truth is, it's too long.

  • The score board you put up at 3:30, imo get rid of it. It's subjective anyway, wastes your time and people will give you shit for it. Up to you to leave it in, I personally don't see the point.

  • There's nothing wrong with using AI generated imagery for thumbnails, to a degree. You are getting shit for this for unwarranted reasons (hating all things AI is the current trend, duh). I tried the same for one time, though it seems people may prefer my custom composited thumbnails over the same composited thumbnails with AI generated characters. However, too little data to go off of. Other than that, I use AI mainly as a tool to separate audio, create custom dialog, and for math prompts. It can be useful in that way. One thing straight away, though: Never ever use AI voices such as text to speech for narration purposes. People hate that shit. I only did that for very gimmicky, short fun bits.

  • Music choice in the intro section = Debatable. Some will like it, some won't. I prefer not to use metal music because it's too off-putting for a lot of people. Finding the right music takes a bit of experience. If you want, I could give you an example of what would be a good fit and what would not be. Though it also depends on target audience. I make videos for 20-35 year-olds.

  • Music choice in the explanation section = Good. 👍 Always better to go for something chill and not offensive to the ears.

  • 3:59 Has "No Enemy Nearby", yet there is an enemy nearby (in both). I found that confusing, as it's not clear what is missing here. Only difference I could spot is that you are missing the Kulemak ring in the other shot. Care to clarify?

  • 4:30 I think you meant to show the Presence radius? Took me a rewatch to understand what you were showing. Next time, I'd suggest a zoom/blur or arrow, or swirl around with your mouse or something. I completely missed the green circle the first time and was left confused. Our eyes will naturally follow your mouse cursor.

  • Timestamps. Every video should have them. People will skip through the video, no matter what. However, I stopped getting random-ass unrelated questions (or already answered in the video itself) after I started adding timestamps, which makes it take less effort for people to find what they are looking for. Also, make use of that description box. Fill it.

  • Do a double, triple take and "proof watch" your own video before uploading. There are multiple spelling mistakes in the video, i.e. when you show the unique items. There's very real truth to this, as spelling and grammatical errors - scientifically proven - make you appear less credible/less intelligent. This is not me insulting you, by the way, that's just how it is (for real!). And, as a tip, there's no need for you to type out the names of the items when we can see it on the graphic you imported. It's right there on the screen.

  • As for gems and stuff, imo it's a waste of time (I used to do this). People will check for PoBs, so it won't matter. It only serves a purpose if there's extra explanation required, i.e. for a special interaction. You can cut a lot of pointless/tedious editing by adding this to your description instead. I thought it was fancy, but ultimately just added more editing time that was not remotely worth the effort.

Edit: Oh, I forgot to praise the volume! It's so rare to see videos with properly balanced/normalized audio. Kudos.


Overall, I like it. Good video. I gave you this much feedback because I see potential and want you to succeed, and people are rarely ever honest with what one could improve (or they don't actually know). I think your video could benefit from narration to explain some of the interactions, people like that, along with a showcase that underlines what you are saying. If you are not comfortable with it, or feel you don't have a voice fit for voice-overs, you can always resort to text on screen. Even if your English isn't perfect, as long as it's coherent and you don't have a nasal/annoying voice, it will be fine. Good mics are fairly cheap these days. I also like your "show, don't tell" approach - you almost nailed it with the smaller in-video comparison shots. A few minor tweaks needed, as I've mentioned. Keep it up, dude.

Was able to do something similar on my Amazon. Achieved 0% presence through Warlord Berserker (-40%) + All For One (-20%) via Megalomaniac Diamond (50 divs) + Presence Area (-25%) + Grip Of Kulemak (-24%)

I found out another way yesterday while incorporating a undying hate into my minion build. After a complete day of buying and reselling different UH diamonds, i finally found one to use, with 1x 20% inc tribute and 3x 1% spirit reservation effiency per 20 tribute, but also 2% reduced presence area of effect per 10 tribute. Using it at 120 tribute now, because i of course need some presence area for my minions, but i feel like this makes it very easy to reach 0% presence area

I got bored at this stage in the league and decided to spend many of my hard earned divines on a small project. Wouldn't it be funny to stack Energy shield for a min-level char? [https://poe.ninja/poe2/pob/1a027](https://poe.ninja/poe2/pob/1a027) Tabula rasa has relevant jewel mods noted on it in POB so the math actually works out since it doesn't seem to work properly in POB. second screenshot is with a lvl 29 discipline aura with 36% increased aura magnitude - I didn't wanna spend another several thousand divines on a support character, I just wanted to see how well it would work theoretically >3000 ES without aurabot is possible, however, its basically impossible in practice. As of now, there are \*18\* 2 socket uncorrupted crown of thorns left on trade - on average it takes \~11 to hit a 30% and then another 1 in 3 to get a 3 socket one. Hitting a double corrupt on said 3 socket would be better then my current one, but that's not plausible sadly. Same for the boots. Hitting a better double corrupt on the gloves and focus would likely be plausible, but I couldn't buy more bases from Finn. Grip of Kulemak 59% ES \*should\* be possible, but it already took me over 40 attempts to hit 57% so I think I'll just leave it as is. Belt I didn't find any other way besides the 25% corrupt to get ES without a level requirement - if anyone has any idea tell me. Amulet could sanctify for 19/19 but again, would require silly amounts of currency (each try is \~30 div as is with annoint + sanctify + quality). I \*think\* patient barrier should be best annoint, but correct me if I'm wrong. Total investment into this character so far is about 3000 divines, probably a bit more. further thoughts \- maximum technically possible is 3112 ES at level 2 unless I'm missing something important. I made an elemental crossbow varashta sorc this season as my starting build (goal was to exploit yoke of suffering's full potential, you can find poe ninja below, don't be fooled by the dmg tooltip, it kill ubers before they can move) and so since I was in the intel side of the tree I used my weapon swap to maximize exposure (with whispering ice) and curse magnitude. Here with some non-optimized gear I'm reaching a total of -338% res (that's -169% on bosses), meaning it's better than rakiata's. I use cursed ground support to apply the curse and icestorm (which comes with the staff) with prolonged duration and potent exposure to make the exposure last longer. This tech doesn't require much investment apart from your weapon swap and a few sockets at most so it can be plugged into many elemental builds. As it is now, it requires you to cast the spells with your weapon swap, so I use it mostly for bosses, but i might cast icestorm on bulky rares in juiced maps once in a while. If you have a skill dedicated for mapping, it'll propably better to use rakiata on it, and remove it or use another skill for bosses. With yoke and the electrocution node on the tree, enemies have 120% damage taken, more if they're cursed, on top of the giant res drop, plus you benefit from a lot of the "damage against enemies with ailments nodes" so that's why the tooltip is low (explosive grenades indicate 60k in game but they hit bosses for like 2M) at first I was playing with permafrost bolt with frost nexus + navira's fracture + fragmentation rounds, it was a fun combo and really strong for leveling but I couldn't scale navira's fracture damage in late game (I had command + minion nodes on my second weapon instead of the curse/exposure at the time) Hope this inspires some of you!
