I’m currently building a small social media agency focused on helping brands and creators grow their presence online, and I’m looking for a Social Media Manager to join the team.

What you’ll be doing:

Managing Instagram/Facebook accounts
Planning and organizing content
Writing/assisting with captions and content ideas
Scheduling posts and reels
Tracking basic analytics and engagement
Keeping up with current social media trends

What I’m looking for:

Good understanding of Instagram & social media
Creative mindset and good communication
Consistency and reliability
Basic knowledge of analytics is a plus
Previous experience is preferred, but strong beginners can apply too

Work: Remote
Type: Part-time / flexible
Compensation: Negotiable, based on experience and workload

has anyone here tried path social

i’ve been trying to grow my ig for a while now and it feels like i’m just stuck in the same place no matter what i post. i’m not expecting to blow up overnight or anything, but i’d at least like to see some steady movement. path social keeps showing up on my feed lately and i got curious. from what i understand it’s supposed to help you reach people who are actually interested in your niche instead of just padding the follower count. has anyone here actually used it for a few weeks or months? did the followers feel real and did they actually engage, or was it mostly just a bigger number on the profile? just looking for actual experiences before i spend money on it.

Finally broke through my growth plateau here's what helped

After 6 months of sitting at around a 1K followers on tiktok, I've finally broken through. I tried so many diferent things collabs, different content, posting schedules, etc. What worked for me was just slightly boosting my account(not bots, just a little) so that the algorithim would notice my content and help boost it a little. I started with just a couple hundred extra followers and some likes on my last couple videos. A week later, I've gotten organically engaged again and my following is growing once more. Has anyone else tried this tactic? What worked for you?

i went viral. 4.5million views last week. how? or more like how tf can you or your companies or your employees do this? I've been posting content consistently for 2 years, and this is my blueprint. Your content is mainly formats, subjects, and user value. in that order. 1. Format - steal your formats from other accounts that are doing well right now. For my account, before & afters work best, followed by 4-part transformation videos. Followed by talking to the camera storytimes. \*once you find a video format that works keep using it ver and over until you literally hit 1M views or followers. If its working, keep doing it. duh.\* 2. subjects - what is your video about? pick 1 subject and every video is a slight variation of that. mine is my transformation story. ("I went into the hospital for psychosis, after that I got super depressed, then I knew I wanted to make a change, so I founded my company \[name redacted\] and focused on trying to build a life.") 3. user value - why tf would anyone watch you? they dont care about you, they care about themselves. Are you showing something they need to see? Giving unique/accurate/useful advice? Offering a valuable shift in perspective? Connecting them to resources? (My personal approach to user value is to give it all away for free. Leave it all on the floor. If I know something of value to you I will simply tell you for free and generously. If my app is good, you will use it. If my content is good, you will follow me without me needing to do any bamboozling). So there is it! Format, Subject, User Value is my high level blueprint. I can break down how i researched and decided on my specific styles for each if anyone finds that interesting. My next post on this subject will me how I read my analytics to decide what content to post/not post. Sharing my learnings and hoping to learn more from you!

i've recently started posting more on social media (professionally for work), but i find it quite challenging. i talked to some friends in the industry and wanted to share some learnings, and most importantly, also to learn from all of you. a few learnings: 1. **post consistently**. it helps a lot with building up the profile, and sometimes, there'll be that 1 post that will just randomly get favored by the algorithm. posting consistently helps increasing the odds for that to happen. 2. **content scheduling**. personally, i find it hard to post consistently because it takes a lot of time to prepare for content. so, i've been trying to get into rhythm of building up better schedule so that i can batch prepare content, and schedule the posts. 3. **iterate on the content format**. keep trying out different format, and if something works, double down on it. if not, then take a step back. what have you tried? what's working and what's not?

HR pros, business owners, etc, what do you do, or have you done, when people call about what an employee posts online?

Quite often people claim they will go to a poster’s employer when the poster posts a controversial item. Are these just empty threats or do people legitimately contact employers. If so, what do you do about it?
