It looks so bad. Makes the app impossible to use.

Can‘t see Americans comments?

Ive made a post on tiktok about this already (view above) but basically I cannot see comments of americans? Im not entirely sure if its JUST americans, but the two people ive spoken to about this and cannot view the comments of are american My partner, whose american, *can* view those comments though, so is this because im European or is it a general tiktok glitch? Has anyone else experienced this?

Just made an account but I can't follow anyone, like any posts, or edit my profile. Anyone know what's up?

Never used tiktok before, just signed up today. For a while it wouldn't let me edit my name, but eventually I was able to. And I was able to upload a profile photo. But I can't do anything else. When I try to follow someone or like a post, it acts normal - it does the little animation and says "following" or shows that I liked it. But if I leave the person's profile, or the post, and then go back to it, I'm suddenly not following them anymore, and whatever post I liked isn't liked. I tried just scrolling on the Home feed and liking posts to see if anything happened. Interestingly enough the feed DID start showing me stuff that was related to accounts I had followed and posts I had liked. But as I said, if I go to those accounts/posts, they're not followed/liked. I tried to do the verification thing but when I try to do anything (such as write my bio) it says "you're editing too fast" when I try to Save. I didn't use a vpn or any roundabout ways of creating an account. I've tried both on my phone and in a browser on desktop. Is this just a waiting game for new accounts or what?
