What is going on? Since yesterday, at least 9 out of 10 videos in my feed are either advertisements or some "lower class" videos.
I changed nothing in my behavior. I tried to mark all of them with "Not interested" but it doesn’t work. Even blocking them didn’t work.
This is the worst experience I ever had on that App.

Same, it’s nonstop unmarked ads as well as only videos with millions of views
I think blocking them does help. You have to persist at it and you can't block every account but it seems it will reduce ads after a while.
Let me guess it’s ALL Kalshi too….. I blocked like ten creators shilling kalshi and it’s STILL all of my ads
Definitely noticing an increase in the ads.
have you checked if your account region changed somehow? sometimes a VPN or location glitch can dump you into a different ad pool and the whole feed goes sideways
Feel free to laugh, but that’s what it felt like when I got the message that TikTok wasn’t available. I’m sad. But thank God our representatives, who have done nothing, finally united to make sure this happened. Don’t forget Trump started this whole thing when he said he wanted to ban it and also on August 6, 2020 signed an executive order to put sanctions on TikTok.
I dont think i can put into words what this app has done for me. I lost my dad a year ago and tiktok was genuinely the only thing that kept me sane. If this is truly the end if just like to say thank you. I know most everyone here has some type of storyof what TikTok means to them and if you want to share id love to hear them. Thank you TikTok for being a light in a darkening world.

Hey! I’ve got a couple of accounts from when I was a very young minor that I want gone. I don’t have access to the phone number that one is connected to and the other one is connected to an email that I don’t know the user for. Is there any other way to get into these accounts to get rid of them or do I have to spam report them? Thanks!
I think around 3 or 4 days ago, the Tiktok UI changed on my Firefox browser from showing only one video on my FYP that you can either scroll up or down from (kinda like on a phone), to having an almost similar design to Youtube, where it shows a column of videos that you need to hover your mouse over in order to let them play Not only that, my FYP has gotten completely randomized too. It shows stuff completely different from what I usually watch after the change in UI. Instead of getting content made in english, or content about my actual interests, practically everything is either foreign AI slop, videos in Russian, Spanish, or places in rural Asia/Middle-east, and horrifically enough, I'd sometimes get animal or child abuse too I checked Microsoft edge to see if it was the same but it was actually similar to how Tiktok looks like on a phone, where it just shows you one video that you can scroll up or down from. My FYP is also completely normal there too, and I actually get videos related to my interests While I know Tiktok is better used as an app on phones, I don't think it should be difficult to use on computers either, so I made this post to see if anyone can relate to this issue at all, cause it's honestly creeping me out
