Chiboki consolidated shipping

Is there any way to get around the consolidated shipping and just pay the shipping up front, or is that not an option within red-note?
I’m worried about how much the shipping will be because I want to order 13 squishes and would wanna know the price before I end up purchasing them

if you go to the order page for the items your paying (checkout page) it should give you the option between direct & consolidation shipping, if it only gives you consolidation shipping,, its probally that the store doesnt directly ship internationally

Truth nuke on RedNote

Can't believe what I've seen on RedNote. I am no longer convinced that we are living in a "first-world country". It's just insanely eye-opening.

As an experienced user, let me explain

Unlike TikTok, which operates on separate servers for China and the rest of the world, Rednote runs primarily on servers in China. Because of this, the platform must follow Chinese government content regulations. This is also why sensitive identity verification like passport and phone number is required. From my experience using other China-based platforms, such as the Chinese TikTok, Tieba, Fupu, and Zhihu, they all follow the same government content rules. Without real identity verification, your account will be restricted, and you won’t be able to post or interact normally. Rednote is especially strict about content sensitivity. If you look into Rednote's community rules, you’ll see that the platform emphasizes creating an extremely positive environment, aiming to maintain a good image and comply with Chinese government content regulations. This approach inevitably limits freedom of expression and creativity on the platform. Even posts with slight negativity or sensitive wording can lead to account penalties, and the punishment system is quite harsh. Depending on the severity of the violation, users may face shadowbans, function restrictions, comment bans, hidden notes, or even full account bans. One thing I personally dislike is that sometimes your topics gets flagged for being “sensitive,” while at the same time many female creators post borderline revealing content to attract views, yet the platform rarely takes action. This inconsistency is particularly frustrating. Despite the strict moderation, I can’t deny that Rednote has one of the best organic traffic algorithms among Chinese social apps, arguably even better than TikTok’s. Around 80–90% of a post’s traffic typically comes from the front-page recommendation system, and when you post a note, the algorithm actively pushes it to users, allowing you to gain exposure without paid promotion. If your content is high quality and uses appropriate hashtags, your posts can stay near the top of keyword searches for a long time, resulting in significant traction, likes, saves, and followers, all without spending any money on promotion. Rednote presents a unique balance of strict regulation and powerful opportunity. While its rigorous content moderation and mandatory identity verification can feel restrictive and inconsistent, especially regarding sensitive topics, the platform’s highly effective organic traffic algorithm offers creators unparalleled visibility and growth potential. For those willing to navigate its rules carefully and produce high-quality content, Rednote can be a rewarding platform that combines significant reach with the opportunity to build a strong, engaged audience—all without relying on paid promotion.

indefinite restriction, denied passport verification…

i’m australian born chinese. some of my interests are really niche globally, but has lots of fanartists in china. i’m friends with them on global platforms like xwitter, but they post much more here and also it’s more lively.. i’d really love to see their works (guess i still can, i just can’t share anymore.) so far the changes in my account that i noticed is a fully resetted profile name, pictures, bio. people won’t see my profile and posts, and i can’t make new posts or comment. they’ve restricted the feature to delete this account and make a new one..? it doesn’t bother me cuz i just started, but i’m still a little sad. ive tried the automated appeal with my passport. i dont care if they get my information but when i tried to give my details, it needed me to NFC scan my passport. the facial recognition failed many times since my lighting was too bright. after the 7th try they got it, but said my phone is “unsafe”, therefore it’s not valid. is there just no way around it… ive said absolutely nothing to no one, i like art posts and finally decided to post my own drawings (with my desc text in chinese). did i post too many within 30 minutes??? whatd i even do so far bilibili has been the most kind app to me, taobao has also banned me at one point should i pack it up and leave

Help with package returned

I had a package from xiaohongshu shipped to the Cainiao warehouse, but they rejected my package with a message that said it will be returned to the seller via the original route. I was told that when a package is rejected by Cainiao, it will be returned to the sender via the same tracking number. I’m trying to fill out the Return Details on xiaohongshu, but it’s not letting me enter the same tracking number. So what should I do??
