Feel free to laugh, but that’s what it felt like when I got the message that TikTok wasn’t available. I’m sad. But thank God our representatives, who have done nothing, finally united to make sure this happened. Don’t forget Trump started this whole thing when he said he wanted to ban it and also on August 6, 2020 signed an executive order to put sanctions on TikTok.

I dont think i can put into words what this app has done for me. I lost my dad a year ago and tiktok was genuinely the only thing that kept me sane. If this is truly the end if just like to say thank you. I know most everyone here has some type of storyof what TikTok means to them and if you want to share id love to hear them. Is anyone else's FYP suddenly completely different?

My FYP for MONTHS has been solid, the same kind of content I enjoy and it's been great. I woke up this morning, felt like watching a little tiktok and it's totally messed up out of nowhere? My content is usually just like pet videos, ASMR, some creators I follow, meme stuff, whatever. But this morning it has been flooded with videos with Arabic writing, spanish videos, and AI-generated content? Like nothing wrong with other languages but I do not speak a language other than English so I don't know why years into me using the app it's suddenly pushing a whole pile? And I've avoided AI content as much as I possibly can (anti generative AI) but my page is just full of slop? I'll get MAYBE 1 video I actually enjoy in a pile of 10-20 random things I have no idea what is going on in. Is this a universal thing or did something get messed up for me?
