Managing multiple social platforms feels like managing several separate jobs

for people handling social media across multiple platforms, how do you keep everything manageable?

between creating content, adapting creatives for different platforms, scheduling posts, checking analytics, and running paid campaigns, it seems like there's always another dashboard to check.

do you use separate tools for each task, an all-in-one platform, or a mix of tools and spreadsheets?

i'm curious which part of the workflow takes the most effort for you. is it creating content, keeping everything organised, understanding performance, or something else?

would be interested to hear what your actual setup looks like, especially if you're doing this without a large team.

The part that eats my time is not creation, it is the switching. Opening five dashboards to answer one simple question from a client used to kill my mornings.

What helped was giving each job one home and one time slot. Content gets made in one batch, approvals happen in one thread, and analytics only get checked twice a week unless a campaign is live. I keep one plain spreadsheet per client with the post, the platform, the date, and the one number we agreed actually matters for that client.

It sounds boring, but the rule that saved me most is that no platform gets its own process. Same naming, same folder layout, same report format everywhere. The platforms differ, the system does not.

the reformatting eats more time than the posting. i write one master draft, then cut it into each platform's shape in one batch a week. a single calendar sheet with one column per platform beats a dashboard for planning, and i only check analytics once a week because the daily numbers swing too much to act on.

I manage content across six platforms, and honestly, the biggest time sink is adapting everything for each one. The video itself is usually the easy part. It's the different descriptions, formats, hashtags, and uploading processes that add up. I've found that keeping a consistent posting order and preparing everything before uploading makes it much more manageable.

What is engagement on LinkedIn?

Everyone talks about "boosting engagement" but nobody actually breaks down what that means practically. Likes, comments, shares, clicks they all count differently and yet most people treat them the same. From what I have seen comments carry the most weight both for the algorithm and for actual human memory. When someone leaves a genuinely thoughtful comment I remember their name way longer than whoever wrote the original post. Is that just me or does anyone else experience linkedIn that way?

Anyone started a paid community??

Hey everyone, I have around 25 000 subscribers on YouTube and 10k on instagram. I’m barely generating any revenue from like ads, but my community is very engaged. I’ve been recommended starting a paid community on like [Meplio](https://meplio.com/) or [Skool](https://www.skool.com/) has anyone actually made any money like this? Thank you!

Does posting consistently actually matter if the content isn't great?

I’ve always wondered how much consistency really matters compared with simply posting less often but having something genuinely useful or interesting to say. There seems to be a lot of pressure to post every day now. For people who actually manage social accounts, what have you seen work better: posting frequently, or posting only when you have something worth putting out? And has that changed depending on the platform?

I think we're solving the wrong problem with AI content tools

Every new AI content tool seems to promise faster generation. Faster captions. Faster scripts. Faster images. More posts. But I'm starting to think content generation isn't even the biggest bottleneck for people managing social media. It's everything surrounding it. You research an idea in one place, draft somewhere else, send it for feedback, make revisions, schedule it, and then jump into another dashboard to see whether it performed. And when something works, the context behind *why* it worked often gets lost. I'm building a creator workflow product, so I'm particularly interested in this problem. But I don't want to assume everyone experiences it the same way. For people actually managing social accounts: Is producing the content still your biggest time sink, or has managing the entire process become worse? I'd especially like to hear from people managing multiple brands or clients.

Do you guys know of any ai based social media app that is becoming popular(or is already popular). What are the chances of AI giving us the next instagram/tik tok/whatsapp?

Social media managers: where do you go to actually stay up to date?

I’ve been working as a social media manager for a few years now, and lately I feel like I’m constantly falling behind. Between algorithm changes, new features, AI tools, shifting content trends and everything else, it feels like the industry is changing faster than I can keep up with. And honestly, there’s SO much noise out there. Everyone seems to have a newsletter, a YouTube channel or some secret formula to beat the algorithm, but a lot of it feels like recycled advice or straight-up nonsense. So I’m curious: **where do you actually go to stay informed and keep learning?** I’m talking newsletters, blogs, YouTube channels, Instagram accounts, podcasts, communities… anything! I’d especially love recommendations from people who actually work in social media marketing and have found resources that consistently provide useful insights rather than generic tips. Would love to hear your recommendations!
