my phone number is linked to my account, i’m in the US and see other people in the US changing their ID. everytime i try to it shows “region currently not supported” i’m so confused rn yall

People get banned for "not" speaking mandarin?

I am new to red note. I join groups where hobbyist musicians take turns singing/performing on their musical instruments. I do not know how to speak Mandarin. But I can speak English and Cantonese. One time, the host of the music group said Red Note sent her a warning that the group was speaking too much English. So then everyone quickly switched to Mandarin, at which point, I didn't understand anything other than simple things like "it's your turn to perform". Can someone explain to me what actually happens when you speak English on rednote? Is that a very dangerous ting to do? And what if I speak Cantonese? Some of the groups I join have cantonese speakers. Is speaking Cantonese also very dangerous on red note? I'm not sure what I can or can't do, and what happens if i speak too much english/cantonese. Any insight will help, thank you

Restricted (& lifted!)

Some good news for people who are panicking about seemingly random restrictions. I got restricted this afternoon (3pm CEST) and it's already been lifted! All I had to do was appeal. Hopefully more of you can have experiences like this, but hope isn't lost! :)

those aholes probably already banned this guy, what hope do you think you have? lol

RedNote Account Banned Issue

Anyone else facing this problem??? Is there any way to resolve this issue? My appeal has already been rejected, and customer support told me that they do not have the authority to remove the restriction. Has anyone experienced the same situation and successfully recovered their account? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. 🙏

How can I verify my account? Help

I'm new to rednote, don't speak chinese and I'm using google translate to get around. I can't seem to find a "send to review" button there, however, nor can I click the "verify real name" at the top options, as it simply doesn't get to another page.
