Hi! Is it unprofessional for supervisor to have a public personal instagram account?
There is basic normal pictures of me, my husband and dog, some humor things and what podcasts/music I listen to. So it's just a basic personal account, but often I see supervisors with private accounts...
So what thoughts on that?
It’s not unprofessional but you have to be extraordinarily careful about what you post. One careless post can cost you a lot.
Also I love it bc then I can see what you like and say that during interviews. I got a 3X raise in income that way once

I got home from work at 2:30am, I got on Instagram around 3:00am, I've been up and now it's time for me to go back to work, no sleep LITERALLY from 3:00am to 2:00pm I was scrolling and commenting on social media, the whole time I'm scrolling and scrolling, I'm telling myself "man you need to get off" "if you read a book, you will be sleep in 10 mins" but I never do. I feel it's partly to do with the content on my social media, it's not a bunch of funny, mindless videos. It's informational, hidden history, metaphysics, etc... I LEARN from them but for some reason it's almost impossible to just put the damn phone down🫠 I'm not looking for sympathy or "just delete the app". I'm looking for real steps to take, or people who have also been super addicted to social media who got out of that HOLE. It's like these past 5 months has PASSED BY due to me constantly on social media but I'm tired of it.
I’ve been having a problem, (I have to say it) getting rage baited of course on Facebook. I have a problem with debating and arguing lmao. I also self-sabotage in a way on snap because it’s like I blog my whole damn life on there? Why idk. I’ve done it since a teenager, and while I know it’s not bad unless I perceive it as bad, it does make me feel guilty sometimes and the root of that is something I still need to figure out. I deleted tik tok as well! I have also deleted instagram. Tik Tok, Snapchat, Insta, Facebook are ALL deleted. So far it’s been like 2 days, but I honestly feel really good, I’m just trying to find other ways to keep me busy and away from rotting in my bed, or sleeping. The hard part is I don’t have a car, I can’t really go do much and walking around my neighborhood is just bleh. I do have a job, I work 40 hours a week at a senior home so I really feel like getting rid of social media will also help me pay better attention. I just feel so bored. Any tips??
Most influencers sell lifestyles that aren’t real, promote products they don’t use, and make money off people who trust them. How is that different from scamming just more socially accepted? Or am I being too harsh?
Hello! I have a little bit of design and Canva know-hows but entirely clueless on what makes a post good and engaging. I'm creating static fb posts for a relative's business to promote their training seminar (in the agribusiness niche). Do you have any tips/strategies on how I should make them? Maybe some copy/design hooks too that have worked for you? I was thinking to make static posts about the speakers and what the topics are in the training. Or do you think making short-form content is better to promote this kind of event? And how do I go about promoting the business itself or grow their presence using static posts? They have a decent following, with most of them following their personal account, not their FB business page. He had some partnerships/sponsorships with the government too for the trainings. Putting this here for context! Sorry for the bombardment of questions 😅 Personally interested in this topic too and want to get into marketing. I would love to hear tips and advice from you guys! I’m so frustrated that there is no customer service at Facebook. I’ve had the same problem for months now. I post a photo or a reel on my Facebook page through the iPhone app and it post three times. I have no other apps connected to my account other than Instagram. If I post it through Instagram and post one time. However, there’s times I need to post on Facebook and when there are three versions, I have to delete two and that downgrade the remaining one as a repeat. This is costing me money and time. Any ideas?
this happened back in june and if youre working with affiliates or creators in those categories it changes the math a decent amount. the open collaboration tier, meaning any creator can join without a brand approving them individually, dropped from roughly 20 percent commission to somewhere in the 10 to 15 percent range, specifically hitting beauty, supplements, and home categories targeted collaboration, where a brand picks specific creators and negotiates directly, wasnt touched, that tier is still anywhere from 18 to 50 percent depending on what gets negotiated. so the gap between just joining the open program and actually getting picked for a direct deal got a lot wider than it used to be one thing worth knowing if you had a campaign already running when this changed, existing contracts kept the old rate for 30 days before the new commission kicked in, so it wasnt an instant cutoff for anyone mid campaign worth flagging i only found this through a couple of creator focused blogs covering it, not tiktoks own announcement directly, so the exact percentages might be slightly off from what tiktok actually published anyone in these categories actually felt this hit their payouts yet, curious how big the difference has been in practice
