Gauth, Lemon8, capcut, Lark, TikTok, Hypic, Marvelsnap, are all owned by bytedance. The ban was not a ban on TikTok it was on "foreign adversary" Bytedance. Even though bytedance is 60% owned by global investors and at least 3 AMERICANS are on the board committee aka investors who run bytedance, such as Ford, whose American. Bytedance the parent company for TT was following the law and removed all its platforms not just TikTok. They are all back now of course but if it Trump doesn't do anything any app bytedance owns will not be accessible to USA users or in the app stores.
