MY FYP IS BROKEN

I’ve had my fyp in English and what I like watching for the past few months. I repost, like and watch English videos. But like 30 minutes ago my recommendations randomly switched to local videos (Azerbaijani) that I absolutely despise because my people have horrible humor and most users are 50 year olds posting about their family. I never interacted with any Azerbaijani videos in the past weeks, this happened randomly after I left my phone and then returned, my FYP was broken. I’ve tried lots of things like changing my location to the USA then changing it back, re-loginning to my tiktok account, restarting my phone, but nothing seemed to work at all.

So, just now, my whole fyp just switched on me, and started showing me Arab content I never asked for, does anybody have a solution

Viewer jail and follow count? What’s the point of having followers of TikTok only shows your videos to new people?

I have over 13,000 followers and my videos are only seen by less than 1000 people every time. My content hasn’t changed. TikTok says that it takes a limited amount of viewers and shows your videos to them before it decides to expand it to another larger universe. I guess my question is what’s the point of having so many followers if a fraction of them are only going to see ñthe video? Is there a way around this?
