TikTok notifications activity not showing anything but a white screen. It’s been 2 days now. How do I fix it?

Why is my whole FYP just Russian? 👹

It happened one morning 2 days ago and I can pin point the min but since then 99.9% of all my FYP videos are Russian. I’ve tried clearing cache and everything but it hasn’t been fixed. TikTok support is obviously useless. I can’t possibly mark not interested when every video is Russian. Funnily enough I tried using a VPN and that seemed to fix it. I’m in London. What is going on?

TikTok has been telling me to follow back accounts that I already follow and when I try to follow them back it says “something went wrong please try again” I can still text them but I can’t see their accounts if its private. Has this happened to anyone?
