There’s something strangely beautiful about two people staying connected without ever crossing paths again

It’s just so fucked up and sad. They never hurt anyone in their lives and even before the Nazis they were treated like criminals and objects of disgust and derision for just being people with developmental differences who needed a little surgery to correct some issues.

If they had cleft palate nobody would have begrudged them an operation. 

But an intense refusal to accept that anything that has to happen in the womb will eventually go poorly for someone means they had to suffer at home, and in public.

And then the fucking Nazis came.
