When I was 14 I was sent to boot camp for stealing cars, I remember the ride with my father on the ride to camp, not a word was spoken complete silence, the song “One love” played on the radio, it was at this moment my choices had started to take their toll and I realised the mistakes I had made.

A police officer had given me a chance and either said I enrolled in boot camp or I would be charged, I took the boot camp choice, my life changed for the better.

I like to think that “One Love” represents the love that police officer showed me,

The world needs understanding and love, we are all human, we all make mistakes, but we should always love each other.
