TikTok new account SMS Verifications

Is there anyway to bypass/solve for these SMS verifications? We market events in different cities and need to have different accounts for each city. Cannot create new accounts using email on the computer because TikTok would not send the email code through (checked for spam/VPN on and off) and the ones that did come in it would say “too many attempts” at first attempt and just timeout, not let us register new account.

Switched to mobile phone to register and it’s asking for phone numbers. After three phone numbers, we are tapped out, we don’t have any more phone numbers. It won’t allow more than one account per phone number. been dealing with this for a week now. Any advice would be appreciated on how to get around this! Thank You!

nobody needs to follow you anymore, and thats why your reels get views and no follows

everyone is asking why the views are fine and the follows are dead, and i think the answer is boring and structural, not the algorithm punishing anyone. think about why you used to follow an account. you followed so you would see their stuff again. that was the entire deal. now the feed serves you whatever it wants either way, and if that person makes another good video you will probably get shown it regardless. so following costs the viewer a slightly messier feed and gives them almost nothing back. the trade stopped making sense. which means "follow for more" is asking people to pay for something they already get for free. no wonder it quietly stopped working. the follows that still happen look different to me. people follow when they want to find you again on purpose. not to receive you, to locate you. thats a completely different job and it needs a different reason. a series where they want the next part. a name for the thing you do. something on the profile that signals there is more of this and its organised, not just one good video and then vibes. heres the part im not certain about and would like people to push back on. if this is right, two accounts making equally good videos should convert views into follows at wildly different rates depending on whether theres a recognisable recurring thing on the profile, and hook quality should barely matter for the follow specifically. it obviously still matters for the view. so if you run a series or a named format, does your follow rate look different from your one off posts? id like to know if this holds up or if im talking nonsense.

Meta and the No Kings backlash

How is there no discussion on this subreddit about this? My Meta feeds are dominated by anti-Meta comments saying everyone needs to abandon Meta. This seems like a good opportunity to start discussing and sharing some alternative social networks. Has anyone taken this as an opportunity to express solidarity against this blatant form of censorship? The problem is that in order to get people to switch from Meta, you kind of have to pay a LOT of money to Meta to advertise. This is also just the latest backlash against Meta after a series of moves by the company that has angered small business owners, page and group owners who now have to pay monthly fees to put links on their content (gimme a break), poor performance on their advertising channels, poor reach from some of their channels based on Meta's algorithm changes. The 1984 style thought control is being thrown in all of our faces and it is unacceptable to me as a citizen to put up with it. So, I know this topic is widely covered, but I was surprised to not see any discussion specifically around this from this past week. So i guess the question is .... what do we do about it?

Would hiring a social media manager help me actually start posting consistently?

I’ve barely posted on social media for years, but I’d like to start building more of a personal/professional presence. My biggest issues are honestly pretty basic: I overthink how I’ll be perceived, get overly focused on likes/views/numbers, and then struggle to post consistently. I can spend way too long thinking about a simple post and then end up posting nothing. I’m wondering if hiring a social media manager or strategist would actually help with this, or if that’s overkill. Ideally I’d want help with content ideas, planning, editing, scheduling, and basically creating enough structure that I stop overthinking every post. I’d still want it to sound like me and not feel overly polished or “influencer-y.” For people who do this professionally: Is this the kind of client/problem a social media manager can actually help with? Would I be better off looking for a social media manager, content strategist, or personal branding person? What would a reasonable monthly budget be? Where would you recommend finding someone good?

Anyone actually running their socials fully on AI agents? Does it work or is it just AI slop?

Hey guys, quick question for the digital marketers / social media managers here (and anyone in that world). For those of you using AI agents to do your copywriting automatically, and even making the media hooks too, is it actually effective? Or do people just avoid it because it feels like it lost the human side (aka "AI slop")? Has anyone actually run this setup for real? Would love to hear your take. I keep seeing people who don't even touch their phone or laptop to post on their socials, because an AI agent runs the whole thing start to finish. Honestly I'm skeptical it really works. Volume-wise, sure, maybe. But quality-wise? Idk. Ngl I'm kinda curious about it, but still pretty skeptical at the same time.

Planning posts ahead

Do you plan a month at a time, or work week by week? A monthly plan seems easier to manage, but leaves less room for current topics. Which works better for you?

What is the problem with ads?

I’m not a meta employee, but I am curious what the discourse is on ads? There are certain platforms that I completely agree with, TikTok specifically, 99% of artists who I talk to that paid for the promotion option on TikTok tell me the same thing which is that it’s the worst thing ever and a complete waste of money, I’ve personally never ran an ad on TikTok because even if it weren’t a scam I don’t know how effective I could see that being on such a fast paced scroll and go app, I feel like you’d have to drop a major bag for something like that to really make a difference However, I HAVE ran ads on Instagram, targeted ones AND “suggested audience” ones, I’ll say without a shadow of a doubt the “Suggested Audience” option is a scam, you are going to get 100 followers but 90 of them follow 4000+ people and will never see a single one of your posts again, TARGETED ads however I’ve actually found quite a bit of success with in my niche, my idea of an ad “working” isn’t just the interaction jump and the followers it’s WHO is following you and how likely they are to continue supporting your content/music The mass appeal theory is also very real, people are much more likely to pay attention to something with high engagement then they are to anything smaller. consistent content and quality content will always reign supreme over any form of ads, trial reels also seem to be a massive cheat code a lot of people still somehow haven’t cracked yet, but I’m just super confused why people seem to be so against the idea of an artist running some ads. lmk if I’m missing something though, I could definitely see it not being that great for certain niches
