Low views on TikTok because I moved?

Hi, I’m not too sure where to post this but I’m having trouble with TikTok right now. I lived in New York and posted on TikTok a lot and I had no problems with views and comments and likes. I just landed in Cambodia two days ago and I started to post content last night. I noticed that since I came to Cambodia posting on TikTok, none of my videos have been getting any views whatsoever. I’ve been stuck on zero for a whole day now. I’ve tried to contact TikTok and they were no help at all, which is disappointing so I’m trying to figure out if me moving to Cambodia is causing the issue if anybody knows how to deal with this situation I would greatly appreciate it. Also, some more information is that my My Verizon data is still working on New York terms, but I am using Cambodia Wi-Fi here.

I tried almost everything. I did my research as best as I can, but now I’m stuck and I don’t know what to do when posting my content.

If it’s exactly zero views, I’d check visibility before blaming the move. Open one of the new videos from a logged-out browser or ask someone else whether it appears on your profile. Also check that the video is public and whether TikTok shows any review or eligibility notice. That should help narrow down whether people can see it at all.

Oversharing online

What do you guys think about oversharing online? Sometimes i’ll post something personal and immediately regret it for obvious reasons, but at the same time, I like feeling connected with people who understand and experience similar things. Any thoughts?

What if a dating app allowed only ONE active match at a time?

I've been thinking about how most dating apps work today. You can match with multiple people, have several conversations, and keep swiping even after finding a potential connection. There's also a common perception that some men struggle to get matches, while some women receive a large number of matches and messages. I wonder whether the way dating apps encourage continuous matching contributes to this experience. So I was thinking about a different approach: 1. **Once you match with someone, you can't receive new matches.** You focus on getting to know that person. 2. **Want to match with someone else?** You have to unmatch your current connection first. The goal would be to **stop collecting matches and start building one connection at a time.** Would you use a dating app like this? What do you think would be the biggest problem with this model?

i got 4.5million views last week, high level blueprint.

i went viral. 4.5million views last week. how? or more like how tf can you or your companies or your employees do this? I've been posting content consistently for 2 years, and this is my blueprint. Your content is mainly formats, subjects, and user value. in that order. 1. Format - steal your formats from other accounts that are doing well right now. For my account, before & afters work best, followed by 4-part transformation videos. Followed by talking to the camera storytimes. \*once you find a video format that works keep using it ver and over until you literally hit 1M views or followers. If its working, keep doing it. duh.\* 2. subjects - what is your video about? pick 1 subject and every video is a slight variation of that. mine is my transformation story. ("I went into the hospital for psychosis, after that I got super depressed, then I knew I wanted to make a change, so I founded my company \[name redacted\] and focused on trying to build a life.") 3. user value - why tf would anyone watch you? they dont care about you, they care about themselves. Are you showing something they need to see? Giving unique/accurate/useful advice? Offering a valuable shift in perspective? Connecting them to resources? (My personal approach to user value is to give it all away for free. Leave it all on the floor. If I know something of value to you I will simply tell you for free and generously. If my app is good, you will use it. If my content is good, you will follow me without me needing to do any bamboozling). So there is it! Format, Subject, User Value is my high level blueprint. I can break down how i researched and decided on my specific styles for each if anyone finds that interesting. My next post on this subject will me how I read my analytics to decide what content to post/not post. "the medium is the message." the 🐐, Marshall McLuhan. **#earlystagecompany** **#creatorfounder** **#consumerapps** **#buildinginpublic** **#socialmedia** **#lifemaxing**

Is there an app or website that builds a social media strategy and generates content based on your answers to a few questions?

Hey everyone! I’m looking for a tool (app or website) where you can input information about your business, niche, or goals by answering a series of questions, and it automatically creates a full social media strategy and generates ready-to-use content based on those answers. Ideally, something that helps with planning and content creation without needing to prompt everything manually from scratch. Does anyone know of a tool like this? Recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

What’s the Best Practice for Using Hashtags on Social Media in 2026? Does It Depend on the Platform?

I want to understand the current best practices for using hashtags across different social media platforms. * How many hashtags should we use per post on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Threads, TikTok, and YouTube? * Does the ideal number of hashtags vary by platform and content type (Reels, carousels, videos, or text posts)? * Are hashtags still effective for increasing reach, discoverability, and engagement in 2026? * Is it better to use a few highly relevant hashtags or a larger mix of popular and niche hashtags? * What common hashtag mistakes should marketers avoid?
